THE PROGENY
It's a complex story with this one. He is your run of the mill, depressed, old vampire who has cracks that run deeper than an ocean trench. While he doesn't have very many friends he will need someone to keep him from going completely insane.

The progeny is an interesting story. Alex will have quite an interesting relationship with them. He is extremely against making a progeny because the idea of damning there souls and condemning them to a murderous life kills him. So here are the progeny options. Details can be discussed and altered to suit. Choose your poison...

Personality: Alex's progeny is a fun character to play with. She's snarky, full of attitude, sociable, fashionable and confident. When you first meet her she's overwhelmingly beautiful, but quiet. She's quiet like her maker, but fits in well in social situations. She prefers to be around Alex and may have developed feelings for him as more than a child has towards their maker. When challenged she will often speak her mind. Most of the time she'll make people feel stupid, but overall does have a deep sense of compassion towards the people she cares about. She uses her confidence and strong personality as a crutch for the emotional trauma left over from her mortal end. Despite loving her new vampire life, she often wishes she could have lived her mortal life with the same confidence.
*In all scenarios Alex will have made the progeny due to her strong resemblance to his mortal daughter Livia. He wouldn't be able to bear the thought of this girl dying and he will be very protective of her. To Alex's dismay, she loves the vampire life.
History I: In this scenario our progeny is a very quiet and shy human who is outcasted due to some stigma with her family. She is weighed down by the stress of either familial problems or some other force (such as abuse or traumatic peer event) and as a result attempts suicide while her family is visiting the town of Elysian. Where and how she attempts to kill herself is up to the player, but it should be in an open area for Alex to find her.
History II: In this scenario our progeny is in her late teens. She is a very beautiful human who doesn't let her vanity get to her head. While she is confident she is very close to her friends and family. On a trip away from Elysian, Alex hears whimpering. He follows the sounds until he finds a bloody mess of clothing scraps and a badly abused body. It turns out the girl was viciously raped, beaten and left to die. He turns her and allows her to decide what to do with the people who harmed her. (Whether she knows her attackers or not is up to you.)
History III: This one is a little less gruesome. Our progeny is dying from an illness or some critical conditions from an accident. Alex happens upon the progeny while visiting an old fried in the hospital. Struck by her resemblance to his daughter and her extreme denial of death he gives her the option to become a vampire.
