Unlike a full blooded faery Isabelle is not extremely long lived. While her full blooded counterparts will live to at least 800 years of age, Isabelle may live to see at least 400. She is stronger than most humans, but displays fairly normal sense. She has the ability to control light and use it as a weapon, but can only use it for short periods of time as ittiresher half-blood body out. Lastly she was blessed with the ability of telepathy, though Isabelle sees it more as a curse as she is just learning how to control it.

H I S T O R Y* *
Isabelle’s story begins with her parents. They were two teenagers who met at school. Victoire pretty and full of life had earned the part of Cosette for the school’s annual musical production and her male counterpart Marius was played by the beautiful and mysterious Augustin Lanoire. The two of them played lovers on stage and very much fell in love at first sight off stage as well. For Victoire, Auggie was a boy who made her laugh and smile at the strangest things. They were spellbound by one another and for the years that they spent together at Aubigny’s Preparatory Academy they were inseparable. So it was no surprise to anyone that they would marry two years later at the age of 18. During her honeymoon, Victoire was surprised to find that she was pregnant and before their first anniversary their beloved daughter Isabelle was born.
The newly wed Lanoire’s stayed in England tostarttheir new lives together and raise their beautiful daughter. Unbeknownst to Victoire, the move was a safety measure planned out by the Lanoire’s to conceal their Faery lineage. While they loved their son, daughter in-law and granddaughter, it was too much of a risk to keep the Faeries in one area so exposed to the open. As the senior Lanoire’s moved away, so did the newlyweds. Victoire thought nothing of it and was deeply entranced by her daughter.
For most of Isabelle’s life she was spoiled with love from both her parents. While she had many friends, Isabelle preferred spending time with her parents who planned many outings to the park, lake and other attractions to make many memories as their daughter grew up. Each year they marveled at how pretty and smart she was becoming. There was never a dull moment with the Lanoires. When they weren’t laughing at Auggie’s funny jokes, they were laughing at the photos they put in Victoire’s many scrapbooks. It was a picture perfect family.
Of course not all fairytales end with happiness. Eleven years of peace and happiness were interrupted by a deadly threat. One night, Augustin received a letter from his parents urging him to find refuge for himself and his family as they were being hunted. Unable to conceal his secret any longer he divulged his past to his wife. Victoire was surprised and even more so angry that he had kept it from her, but after a long talk she accepted it. He spent much time talking with his daughter about her powers and gave instructions to Victoire on how to raise her. For several weeks they looked for somewhere to go, suspicious of others and very protective of their daughter.
Finally they heard word from another Faery who had sought refuge on an Island near the United States. With no other options the family made plans to leave for Elysium. The final day before they were to leave, Victoire went to pick her daughter up from school upon returning home she found a pile of glittering dust on the ground with a note that said they would be back for her daughter. In grief and in terrible fear for her daughter’s life, Victoire left everything behind and fled to Elysium.
With nomoney, skills or schooling she had no idea how to support herself or find a home for her broken family. Luckily the headmaster heard her plea and offered her and her daughter a place at the school, allowing them to live on the campus as much of the staff did. Victoire never lied to her daughter about what happened to Auggie.
For Isabelle she understood the power of evil in the world and has stuck to the story that her father died from a severeallergic reactionthat killed him after his epi-pen failed to work. It wasn’t completely a lie. While Victoire and Isabelle don’t know what actually killed Auggie, they do know that Isabelle shares the same allergies to Iron and Citrus. Thus at all times little Belle must take her epipen and its backup with her.
Now she lives with her mother in the dormitories of St. Gabriel. After passing several tests, much to the pride of her mother, she has been allowed to enroll as a first year student so that she can continue her excelled studies. Despite being much younger than most of the first year students, Izzy has continued to make friends, but as before enjoys spending most of her time with her mother.
