What was the world really like outside of school? Now that her time was actually drawing close to an end she wondered what would reality hold for her? Obviously she came from a good name in the demon world and from a family that was known for its cruelty and love of blood but what about those demons that did not know her? Well Roxie could hold her own. In fact it had only taken her a matter of weeks when she first arrived at the school to create a reputation for herself that was strong. It was so strong that it often was passed down through whispers and rumors amongst the youngest students. Some of it gossip that some were too stupid to realize. Obviously if she had killed another student than she herself would not be standing here still taking classes. The headmaster would have loved to have had the chance to throw her out years ago but she was smarter and managed to hang around until the coming months passed. Then she would be sent off to find herself in the real world. It could have been some big scary place and Roxie did have some reservations but she would not openly admit to them for fear of someone seeing weakness in the strong demon.
As she ventured outside of the buildings that held her classes for the day she found herself drifted down one of those paths that lead through the lovely gardens. Nature was not really her thing but once in a while she enjoyed a walk. Her classes for the day had been their usual dullness, nothing would ever change that. The professors spoke and Roxie only half listened or spent her time mocking one of the other students. Their weakness was her gain and her amusement. Did she make someone cry today? Not quite yet but she did see a girl getting close to tears at some point and Roxie knew that tomorrow was another day and another chance. Her hand rested softly on her hips as she walked with a soft sway to her hips. Her claws dug into the denim material that she wore as her skirt.
Her journey continued as she kept moving forward towards the tree line. At least among the trees there was darkness and creatures that she could enjoy tormenting a little bit. If humans were off limits then at least animals could be a good substitution, although they were not really the same kind of fun. Quietly she entered into the wooded area and continued to venture deeper into the area. Roxie quiet enjoyed the solitude as it gave her more time with her victim, when there was a victim available to her. Slowly she stopped walking and then dropped to her knees on the cold hard ground that made up the floor of the forest. Even though she was sitting on the dirt there was still particular care about how she laid her legs off to the side in a very lady like manner. The light shone through the leaves on the trees and gave the blond a soft glow to her that was very misleading. In this manner she almost looked like a good person but anyone that truly knew her would have seen past this state.
Her eyes darted through the area as she listened and waited for her next little victim. Unlike vampires she never fed from animals, since that was just gross, but they still cried when their skin was cut. They endured pain just as any human minus the vocalization of it. Roxie smirked and just waited.

One of these days, he'd burn this whole forest down. At least that's how the Psychology professor felt on days like today. This forest was the only place he could be safely, that he didn't really worry about something burning, and it wasn't near the water. He could set the whole tree that he was currently sitting in on fire , and then extinguish it, except the damage would already be done to the tree. Days like these Kent wished he was back in New York, maybe he and Gretchen and Rose would still be a family, maybe he'd even have his own Psych practice like he thought he would by now. Instead he was on this Island, teaching.
Except Kent had no room to be complaining about it. Rose was better off here, and so was he. His liked his job even though he had no formal teachers training, he was glad that they had given him a chance. Honestly, Kent didn't even know why he was in such a bad mood today. Probably to due with the fact that the kids seemed extra uncooperative today -especially that demon brat, whatever her name was.
At least three times over the course of the schooly day he had threatened a handful of students to either sit down and shut up or he would literally watch them go up in smoke. Of course, he wouldn't really do that...not during school hours at least. Kent had been up in this tree for nearly an hour. Rose was probably wondering where he'd gone off to, but knew better than to try and chase him down. His eyes drifted down as he heard footsteps.
They settled on a young woman with blonde hair. The demon brat, Roxie. What was she up to all the way out here? Nothing good, he was sure. He quietly slipped down the tree and leaned against it's base, watching her for a moment before speaking. "Roxie. Up to no good I'm sure."

Her choice of major while at St. Gabriels had always been psychology. There was something about the art of being able to break a human mind into a million little emotional pieces before the kill that really spoke to Roxie. She loved watching them act like pathetic little crying humans on the verge of death and pleading for mercy but Roxie knew of no such act unless the kill was boring. There was one man whom Roxie had tied up and was on the verge of bleeding him dry but instead of crying and begging he welcomed the death. He told Roxie that he welcomed the end and that instantly turned her off from the kill. So instead she left him there and went off, only to return a few days later to see the blood on the ground was drying but there was no man. Some stains indicated that he had crawled away and Roxie assumed that he went off to live his life with a renewed sense of love. She assumed that he loved harder, worked less, spent hours with his family, and he was thankful. Again it was a one time thing that Roxie did since she was not in the mood to allow lots of happiness to run through the world at her disposal.
Due to her selection in major she spent a fair bit of time in class with the psychology profession. He was a decent looking man, in Roxie's opinion, and she very much preferred fire over all of the other elements but she respected it enough to avoid getting into too much trouble with her. Her body was perfect as it was and she was not going to ruin it with burn marks. Of course no teacher at this school really liked Roxie and she knew it. It was stupid to pretend like she was a nice person just for the approval of those around her. As a demon, her nature was evil and as a spoiled brat her nature was that of a confident woman who had everything handed to her. There were very few who enjoyed her company, which is why she was a bit more of a loner. Demons were by nature mostly loners so she did not feel like an outcast. Just a girl ready to graduate and see the real world around her.
Her ears perked up a bit when she heard the sounds of a little critter and then again when she heard the sound of someone jumping down from a tree. The noise scared off the little beasts she was going to torture and quickly she turned around to see who disturbed her perfect afternoon. Her blue eyes landed on the familiar face before she shifted her body slightly and returned to her feet. Slowly she stood up and moved her hands to rest on her hips. "Well I was... but you've seemed to ruin my plans." She replied. Slowly she closed the distance between them and smirked. "Did you not get enough of me in class today sir?" An evil smirk showed that she was not playing innocent here. Far from it. Roxie was not the innocent type, although with the way the light played off of her fair skin and hair one could have made the mistake.
She looked almost soft and angelic with her bright blue eyes staring across at him but the smirk just broke the idea. Her fangs were pressing into the skin of her lips and her claws rested on the denim skirt like they had been before she sat down. "Of course if you wanted to see me outside of class all you needed to do was ask. Although I doubt the headmaster would approve of a new professor dating a student and lets face it... I'm not step mom material." She could live on people's reactions as she poked and prodded at their soft spot. Roxie was smart and knew about each of her professions for moments like this.

Kent watched Roxie rise with a steady gaze, his eyes never leaving her face. Sure, she was pretty for someone her age- but she wasn't his type in the least. Besides, he knew she was psycho anyways. Then again, weren't all demons supposed to be Psycho? He didn't know for sure, but he had a feeling that they were. "Well I was..bust you seemed to ruin my plans...did you not get enough of me in class today sir?" Roxie asked as she stepped right up to him. Kent smirked slightly and looked down at her. "I had plenty of you in class today Ms. Parker. Don't get too excited."
In fact, she was probably part of the reason he'd even escaped out here anyways. She had a way of getting under everyone's skin, at least that's what Kent had observed over the few years he'd known her. He knew her tricks -most of them- and knew better than to fall for any of them. Besides, he wouldn't risk his job and Rose's well being for a student, no matter who they were. "Of course, if you wanted to see me outside of class all you needed to do was ask. Although I doubt the headmaster would approve of a new professor dating a student and let's face it...I'm not step mom material." Kent almost laughed at her words. Almost.
"I was out here first, you just happened to interrupt my thinking when you walked under the tree." He started, not seeming phased in the least. It was no secret he had a daughter at the school, Kent had nothing to hide from anyone. "And besides Ms. Parker. You're too young, and not my type. But I will agree on one thing. You're not step-mom material." He gave a slight nod.
"Funny you should jump to the conclusion I want you though...maybe you're trying to tell me something." Kent smirked again and straightened a bit. Roxie wanted to play mind games? He had no problem playing right back.

Of course she knew that she was pretty. She knew that she was attractive to men and she often played that up to get certain things. Mortal men would bend over backwards for the chance to be close to her and Roxie often appeased them. Who didn't want men to buy them nice things? She had a collection of jewelry that was merely made up of gifts from those men. Things she wore once for their eyes and then chucked because it was mostly cheap stuff anyways. Still this professor was smarter than to just fall under her spell of good looks. Actually they both played mind games with one another since that was the nature of his job and his previous work. "And you will have plenty of more of me tomorrow in class as well." She reminded him with a weird sort of cheeriness to her voice. A sick and demented cheeriness that would have also said to him that she did not really care mostly because it was her final year at the school.
Within their interactions, Roxie had gotten to know her professor Williams as well as one student could. Obviously she listened to rumors that the other students spoke and she listened for subtle clues that were dropped in every day conversation. Then there were the assumptions that she made based on the information that she had. From what she gathered Kent Williams was single, no wife, but the question was if it was through divorce or if he was widowed. It could also be that the mother of his daughter left him due to his supernatural status. Roxie quite preferred the tragedy of the third option since it was extremely sad that a woman could not accept such a lovely gift bestowed on him and on their child. It was pathetic that she was not honored to be the other of a supernatural being... unless of course his daughter was just weak.
"Or perhaps you've been stalking me and knew that some afternoons I enjoy a stroll in the woods?" She suggested. Obviously it was a ridiculous idea but she still posed the option in case it were true. Slowly she moved closer towards him, her short frame even more noticeable when she stood close to someone. At only 5 ft and a few inches she was tiny but her personality and confidence towered over everyone. "What were you thinking about? Your daughter perhaps? Does she like being without a mother?" She asked and then laughed at him when he agreed that she was not step mother material. One day she did plan on becoming a mother but it would be to a demon child like herself, not some weak elemental baby.
"Am I trying to tell you something?" She asked in the most suggestive tone possible. "Would you like to start with my daddy issues and my need to fill the void he lift by sleeping around with men who have a strong paternal instinct?" A laugh followed her comment as though she was done with the mocking. Her father had been the perfect father. He bought her nice things, then provided her with live humans to feed on, and he taught her the best ways to torture. A strong mentor and father so she had no need to fill voids. "Tell me... how does that make you feel?" She asked and smirked.

"I have better things to do then stalk you Ms. Parker." Kent said and tilted his head slightly and eyed her. What was her play this time? Roxanne Parker always had something up her sleeve. Occasionally Kent could prevent it if it was her trying to start trouble in class, but only occasionally. Unfortunately he wasn't clairvoyant and couldn't prevent it every time. He studied her, ah...there it was.
She brought up Gretchen and Rose. Rose is just fine without her mother, considering she could hop a plane and visit her whenever she wanted.". Not a complete lie. If Rose really wanted, he was sure she could track down Gretchen. Kent could careless about what his ex-lover was up to unless it had something to do with Rose. Of course if Gretchen die or something like that he would be sad, they spent a long time together, but that's about it.
He smirked when she spoke about 'daddy issues', her tone amused him. If it was anyone else it might have turned him on, but coming from this particular student? No - Kent knew much better than that."How does it make me feel? Like I should personally write you a prescription to see a new psychologist and find a different man with paternal tendencies to fill that empty void." Kent smirked back, his palm open and a flame forming in the center.
Though it was the afternoon, the area they were in was rather shaded by the trees. "I know you like to play with fire Ms. Parker, just be careful you don't get burned." He said, closing his palm briefly to extinguish the flame.

"oh that hurts to hear Kent... and you know you can call me Roxie. We don't need formalities here." She commented. Some people got so caught up in formalities and the proper way to greet someone that the true desire of what they wanted got lost in translation along the way. Besides she was not about to stand out here and call him Professor Williams when they were in the middle of the woods. It would be like referring to her victim as Mr. or Mrs. as she slowly took their lives and then apologizing after it was complete. There was a time and place for them and this was not the time nor was it the place to be called Ms. Parker. Not that she wasn't proud of her last name or anything but she loved to be called Roxie. It was her name and she loved the way it sounded as it rolled off the tongue.
"Tell me... do you spoil her?" She asked and smirked. "Some people theorize stuff about how you raise your child will impact her adult life... for example if you spoil her now then you can just image the men she will want to be with. Old me with money who spoil her and in return expect certain favors from her." At least she was well versed enough within her major to argue points with the professor. A debate that should have been saved for class but now seemed like a perfectly good time. Roxie was an opportunist and now she had a chance to really show this professor her true nature since she was no longer bogged down by the headmasters rules for being in class. Her argument could almost be a comment on herself since her father spoiled her, however Roxie could handle herself. She was not weak and she was too smart to just hand over her body to whomever asked for it.
Her body was perfect in every way and she refused to sully it based on the whim of any man that looked at her. At her comment about daddy issues she could see the amusement that he was hiding behind a smirk. There was a laugh that he wanted to let out but he was smart and holding back. "I wasn't aware that I was seeing you as a psychologist. I thought you were just my professor." She replied. At least he was cracking a joke about the situation and Roxie was interested to see his more amused side. Then he turned their conversation into a different direction with the simple act of opening his palm.
Fire was lovely and Roxie had seen many fires and many people burned alive for the entertainment of demons. "Maybe I enjoy it rough." She responded once he put out the flame. She was smart enough to know that he could burn her but he wouldn't risk his job no matter how tempting. "I image that you enough it a little rough as well... but its nothing more than an idle threat you can't act on because I am student and you wouldn't want to risk your job no matter how tempting it is to burn me"
