Late night, a good book, and MP3 player cranked all the way up. That's how Damien liked to spend his free time when the outside wasn't looking so appealing. Sometimes the mix of music and reading wasn't always a good one, usually he found he'd read a whole chapter or two without really knowing what had happened. Right now he was doing this in the common room of the dormitories. It was raining outside and Damien wasn't a huge fan of being out in the rain, so this would do just fine. Usually when he was outside he was playing his guitar or walking around.
He sighed and paused his music, though kept the earbuds in. It was only paused so he could flip back a few pages and reread. It'd be nice if I could multitask properly. Instead of my attention being divided. Damien thought absently, ever so slightly annoyed. He could just make it easier on himself and not multitask the way he did, but where was the fun in that? He chuckled to himself and shook his head. His long black hair was up in a pony tail today-less of a hassle.
He saw a couple shadows pass by and looked up to give a brief nod to some students who were heading out. Then Damien returned to his book, turning his music back on. He had finished his classes for the day already, so he had the rest of it to himself. Damien loved days like today - he wasn't running all around campus, just went to a few that were right near each other and then could relax. Hopefully the rain would let up soon though, he would much rather be outside.

Rain... the enemy of new shoes and nicely curled hair. The fact that she had taken the time that morning to curl it into soft waves and pulled it back into a neat ponytail should not have said disaster to the weather. However one moment she was sitting in class with blue sky and then suddenly the sky turned grey and eventually black before opening up and showering the world with heavy rain drops. They pelted the window with force and made that annoying patter sound that seemed to drown out the dull voice of the professor she was in class with. The rain annoyed her, mostly because she did not wish to ruin the new boots she had just gotten. They were nice and reached up to her knee with laces and a heel that was to die for. The things that Roxie added to her body to enhance her already lovely body. The demon was very vain about her appearance and now the weather had to go and ruin it. As she stepped out of the building she had been confined to all day for class she felt the weight of the water pull down her curls. No matter how fast she ran it was inevitable that they would be ruined by the time she returned to the dorms. Besides running would show to the other students that she hated the rain or that she might have had some weakness to it. An image that she was now about to openly convey to those that she had just been in class with.
It was a short walk back to the doors but already her hair was ruined and water dripped down off the hair and down her back. The cloth of her boots was wet and she imaged it would not be drying out any time soon. Her only saving grace was the thick wool coat she wore protecting the rest of her outfit from receiving lots of moisture from the rain. She gave a frustrated sigh before walking into the common room and pulling her hair from the band that held it in place. The wet locks cascaded down as she pulled them off to the side to ring out the extra moisture. It puddled on the ground for someone else to clean up and Roxie gave another sigh as she finally looked around to survey the contents of the common room. Only one occupant... a demon that she knew. How had she missed him before? In all of her annoyance she had not bothered to see who was around before she began to shed the water from her body. Whatever... he didn't seem to be paying attention anyways.
But she knew this boy. They were both demons but she knew that he was not full blooded like she was. A half blood mixed with some other super natural creature, which probably brought down his strength. To dilute demon blood was almost criminal and besides... who would want to ruin something so perfect already? At least he was better than someone who had absolutely no demon blood in them. He seemed to be rather engrossed within his music and reading so he probably didn't notice her. Roxie moved closer trying to be as quiet as she could however the heels she wore clicked as she walked. She moved behind him and when she close she ran her fingers over his shoulders and smirked. At this moment in time she wanted his attention and she needed to feel the fire in his gaze on her. Then she waited for his reaction as one of her hands began to run through the hair of his ponytail.
(hey if its alright with you I was hoping that they could already know each other so we can skip the awkward meeting stuff)

(not a problem ^^) Damien hardly ever noticed anyone coming and going when he was focused on this music and books. However when he felt the touch on his shoulder he knew it could only be one person. Roxie. Damien loved making her wait though, so he just ignored it for a little longer. Then she started in on his hair and Damien hated people touching his hair, unless it was a more intimate setting - then he didn't mind so much. Finally he paused the music and took off the ear buds, tilting his head to look up at her and flashed a smile.
"Hey Roxie." He studied her and then turned his body a bit to survey her. "I take it you took a step outside?" Damien smirked and placed his bookmark. They weren't 'best friends' or anything of the sort. In fact, Roxie irritated him every now and again, but she was very pretty and though he hadn't actually had her yet, Damien was sure the time would come. He stood and set his stuff on the chair, going around so he was in front of her.
"But I'm sure you already know that you still look good." Damien chuckled, looking to the door a moment where he saw her little mess of water and back to her. He was taller than her, of course - he was taller than most girls and a few guys. He figured she was probably just getting back from a class. If he knew a thing about the vain demon in front of him - she wasn't going out in that weather willingly.

Roxie made it a point to know all of the demons that passed through the halls. She knew their names, ages, lineages, and anything else considered important. She knew that the demon she had turned her attention too was a half demon and half something else weaker. And she also knew that he was weak in his desire for blood, unlike her but the true nature of any demon would predict that with the right motivation he too could be as blood hungry as she was. Truth be told it might be interesting to have a partner in an intimate manner be there while the blood poured from the human and all over her perfect skin. Then her partner could slowly lick it away while she enjoyed the touch of her friend with benefits and listen to the cries of the weak. Maybe it was a terrifying scene for someone who was not so cruel but she loved the idea so much. When he finally showed some movement and slipped the ear bud from his ear she smirked. His response was to just smile and speak with a slight shift in his gaze to take in her body. "They were not predicting rain this morning. Whoever is responsible for the change in weather owes me a new pair of boots."
She motioned down to the knee high boots that were wet from the rain. Of course they would dry and probably not be ruined if they were set off to dry in the proper manner but Roxie didn't care. She wanted to blame some idiot for ruining her perfectly good afternoon. "Did you cause the rain?" She asked as she watched him and set his stuff to the side. "Because if you did then... I would have to do something very evil to you." Then he complimented her and she smirked as she very much enjoyed the attention that he gave her in that moment. Flattery would get him far in Roxie's eyes and she allowed him to see a softness to her smirk. "Well I would have looked better if the rain had not ruined my hair." Vanity was a trait that ran strong in her family. She was taught a love of fashion and beauty from her grandmother, who often used to lore men to their deaths under the false pretense that she was a beautiful maiden looking for protection. Men went so willing to help her and steal away her virginity that they let their guards down so easily.
Slowly she reached out a hand and lightly caressed his arm. "If you would just give me a moment. I don't wish to remain in these wet cloths any longer." She said and then stepped around him since he was in her way to make it up to her dorm room. "You are welcomed to join me." She commented as she slowly disappeared into the doorway that lead up to the dorm rooms. If he followed she didn't really care but she hoped he did since she wanted to get to know this demon a little bit better. She wanted to know what made him tick and what little secrets he had hidden behind his locks of hair. As she moved through the halls she kept her pace slow but did not look back to see if he was following her or not. Finally she reached her door and slipped inside once the door was unlocked. She left the door open and waited to see if he would appear.
